The city was once considered one of the most beautiful cities in the Orient and despite its recent turbulent history it still retains much Colonial charm. Today the city buzzes with energy and an air of opportunity as Cambodia advances into the 21st century.
After lunch visit the Royal Palace, situated on the site of the former citadel and built by King Norodom in 1966, the Palace still serves as the King and Queen’s residential quarters. Also within the walls of the Palace is the Silver Pagoda, so called because of five thousand silver tiles that line its exquisite floor. If time permits there is also the option of visiting the National Museum, which houses the worlds leading collection of Khmer art and sculpture, and Wat Phnom the founding site of the city. All are within easy walking distance of each other and are a great introduction to this laid-back city. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

The morning is spent learning more about these terrible years, through visits to the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Cheung Ek, better known as the ‘Killing Fields’. It is an incredibly moving experience, but these are two visits you will be glad to have made. During your visit to Cambodia, you will barely meet a single person who didn’t lose a member of their family during these years, yet they are all willing to talk openly about it with you. They wish you to hear about it and see these places, to ensure that it never happens again.

Today you leave Phnom Penh for Siem Reap by flight. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom( 12th century), the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon you visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares, which is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy a wonderful sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hills. Get up early to enjoy the outstanding sunrise over Angkor Wat before having delicious breakfast. The first destination today will be the Angkor Silk Farm where produces a lot of silk products and the silk worms. Go inside, you can observe the process of making silk. Besides, you also admire the lush mulberry fields where provide materials for silk drafts. After that, come back to Siem Reap to take a rest before discovering the Small Circuit, also known as Little Circuit which contains five temples, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Prasat Kravan and Sras Srang. Start the tour by exploring the Ta Keo, uncompleted temple; Ta Prohm, one of the most famous temples built under the King Jayavarman VII, it stands out for outstanding combination between human and nature handiwork. The three remained temples have their own attractions such as great location (leading to a pond – Sras Srang), architecture (pillars in Banteay Kdei), or bas-relief (in Prasat Kravan). Spend the afternoon at your leisure and overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you will go to Boeng Mealea, the most remote ruin temple situated in the main group of Angkor Wat and was buit in the 12th century by King Suryavarma II. It has primary material, sandstone and has basic layout, three surrounding galleries around the major sanctuary. Having smaller size than Angkor Wat, Boeng Mealea, the main monument of the king, still lies among the largest temples of the Khmer empire. In the afternoon, stop at local communities and witness the production of rice paper before trying some Palm Wine and Palm Sugar. The last destination of the day is the pyramidal Pre Rup temple where you can take the sunset over the beautiful countryside and paddy fields.

Arrival at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International airport then transferred to your hotel. Free at your leisure to explore the diverse range of sights in Ho Chi Minh’s tourist spots, get a bird’s-eye view from a rooftop bar or slurp a steaming Vietnamese food.

Start your city tour today by visiting the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Then you continue your sightseeing with Ho Chi Minh’s finest examples of French colonial architecture – the Notre Dame Cathedral. After the lunch in a Vietnamese restaurant, you leave the city center for a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels – the legendary of underground network of tunnels built by Vietnamese guerrillas during Vietnam War. It is a witness of magnanimous history of Vietnam and up to now, it has been an attractive destination for both of domestic and foreign tourists. Dinner on your own and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

The highlight of today is to discover the Central of Vietnam. Catch a domestic flight and reach Danang airport. Head towards to Hoi An, the Ancient Town which was recognized as a World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. Immerse yourself in the great charm of this lovely town and explore some of beauty spots there like Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung House, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms in Hoi An. Free at your leisure to wander around the ancient town at art galleries, shops and cafes are also a great way to while away time in one of Vietnam’s most charming riverside towns.

This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba market. Tonight you enjoy the fine cuisine of Hue in the local restaurant. Overnight in Hue.

Following the hearty breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang’s tomb. We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out the Dragon boat for driving to Khai dinh’s stomb. Overnight in Hue.

After breakfast, transfer to Phu Bai Airport for another flight to Hanoi Capital. On arrival, our guide and driver will take you to the hotel in the city centre. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a city sightseeing around Hanoi visiting some key attractions of this capital city like Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple. Next, get on a cyclo to travel around the Old Quarter – the most ancient quarter there. Enjoy a Water Puppet Performance to grab a hold of a unique traditional folk show belongs only to Vietnam. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Leave Hanoi this morning and head straight to Halong bay a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin (180km – 3.5 – 4 hour driving). After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Overnight on board.

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the turquoise water of the bay. After breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. The cruise will back to the jetty, then your arrive at the harbor by noon and rejoin your car drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
