Upon arrival in Siem Reap International Airport, the tour guide and driver from Camellia Tours Vietnam will pick you up and then transfer you to your hotel in Siem Reap. You can take the last time of the morning to relax or make a tour to explore the early Angkor-era temples of the Rolous, the first city created by the kings of Cambodia such as Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko temples.

After having a lunch in the hotel, let’s start to discover Angkor Wat temple – the largest religious monument in the world. It was built from the early 12th century by the King Suryavarman II. This temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. Therefore, Angkor Wat has become a symbol of Cambodia and appeared on Cambodia’s national flag. Then, our skillful tour guide will share with you the construction process of this masterpiece of Khmer architecture.

The second day of Best Vietnam and Cambodia Tour will spend in Angkor Thom. The first destination is the South Gate. Then, we enter the famous giant stone faces Bayon Temple. It was built by the king Jayavarman VII from the late 12th century to the early 13th century. You should not miss the Baphuon temple which is a huge temple-mountain in the center of Angkor Thom. Ending the morning by a visit to other masterpieces of the King Jayavarman VII such as two Leper King Terrace, Elephant Terrace, and Phimean Akas temple.

Continue our Angkor tour with the charming Banteay Srei temple. It’s known as the Citadel of Women or Citadel of Beauty. This site is very famous for the intricacy of its bas-relief carvings on the walls and in the tiny dimensions of the buildings. The final destination of today is Banteay Samré, known as somewhat “off the beaten track” of Cambodia because it’s far from the Angkor Wat.

The crew will spend all the third day observing the fisherman life and exploring the floating villages by a boat trip on Tonle Sap lake. It’s the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Only after Angkor Wat, Tonle Sap is the second most popular attraction in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

There are four options four you when you want to visit floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake: Chong Khneas, Kampong Phluk, Kampong Khleang, and Preak Toal. The best time to travel here is from December to April.

After leaving Tonle Sap, our driver will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital. As soon as you arrive at Noi Bai airport, our local guide will welcome you and then transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

After a Western breakfast at your hotel, the crew will take about three to four hours to transfer to Halong bay. We will have 2 days/ 1-night excursion on the cruise. Then, we will take a boat to the Cong Dam or Vang Vieng floating villages. You will see the differences between the fisherman’s lives in Vietnam and that in Cambodia.

After that, the cruise will weave its way back to the pier where our driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Hanoi. In the afternoon, we will have a short Hanoi city tour to explore the charming beauty of the capital. The activities for this tour are visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex and the Temple of Literature and enjoying Water Puppet Show.

You can freely use your free time to scroll Hanoi Old Quater and go shopping before our driver picks you up at your hotel for a transfer to Noi Bai Airport.
