Upon arriving in Phnom Penh, you will be met by your guide, then transfer to your hotel for check in. After freshening up, you’ll start your half-day city tour at some of famous places in the capital like: National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda on the same ground of Royal Palace, River Front Park and renowned Wat Phnom. This morning provides a great insight into Cambodia’s recent dark history on a visit to the moving Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in the former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention and torture centre named ‘S-21’. A further visit examines the tragic Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.
The next stop is to Bloom café, an incredible cake art gallery and a not-for-profit training organization that empowers young disadvantaged Cambodian women and provides them with the skills they need to develop a sustainable profession.
Continue to explore Phnom Penh by cyclo, an original Phnom Penh means of transportation and a fun way to explore this lively city. First, visit Wat Phnom, which is situated near the northern boundary of the city. The site contains some good examples of Khmer architecture and statues.
Continue along the lively riverfront to the Royal Palace. then return back to hotel there will be time to freshen up before the evening. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

In the morning, overland excursion along the way to Oudong stopover in Phnom Praset, visit the Pre-Angkorian temple and the pagoda to view the reclining Buddha. Enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding plains and rice-fields from the hilltop temple. Continue driving to Oudong where a picnic lunch will be served. Afternoon visit the various temples and the three large stupas where the ashes of three former kings are preserved. Next visit the Vihara of 18 Cubit Buddha, until transfer back to Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Morning transfer to the pier for embarkation along Mekong river to Koh Dach Island. From the Pier of Kos Dach to visit the Khmer traditional waving village of handicraft production, dying and weaving silk on old looms and pagodas where you can see in action at the historic silk centre. Promenade in the village for visiting the daily life activities of villagers, relaxing on the riverside. Return back to Phnom Penh, navigating slowly a long the river enjoy the scenery of the green vegetation, the fishing village, pagoda and sunset view on the Royal Palace. Transfer from the pier back to hotel and overnight in Phnom Penh.

Depending on departure time, you may spend time wandering in the colourful markets of Phnom Penh. Visit the Central Market, an art deco landmark and one of the largest markets in the city, if not all of Cambodia. it is possible to find clothes, souvenirs, jewellery, and food. Or you are free at your leisure at your hotel untill transfer to Phnom Penh international airport after any excursions for onward flights.
