Take a short break and enjoy your free time in the bustling Saigon city, try the street food and observe the Vietnamese local life.

Ho Chi Minh city tour begins with a walking tour around the city’s historic and famous landmarks. First, walk through the heart of the city along Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) past the Rex Hotel, Municipal Theatre, Central Post Office, Ho Chi Minh Square and Notre Dame Cathedral. They are the most attractive destinations in the city. Then, pay a visit to the War Remnants Museum, and Ben Thanh Market – the largest and oldest market in the city. It now serves both locals and visitors with fruits, vegetables, dried goods, souvenirs, T-Shirts and other garments as well as traditional handicrafts including lacquerware and embroidery.

In the third day of the Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand trip, our guide and driver will transfer you to Cu Chi Tunnels. This site has more than 120 kilometres of underground tunnels, with trapdoors, kitchens, hospitals, living areas, storage facilities and command centres. It was used by the Viet Cong as a hideout and secret village during the war.

Then, come back to Ho Chi Minh city and freely explore Ho Chi Minh city in your free time. You can sample local food from street vendors, get a foot massage, or spend more time on Dong Khoi Street. At night, don’t miss to get a drink at the rooftop bar for great views of the city.

In the morning, take a short flight to Danang. Drop by My Khe beach for swimming and enjoying seafood. Then we will move to Hoian – Vietnam’s an active and well-preserved trading centre. All the buildings and architecture in Hoian is influenced by the Chinese, Portuguese, French, Japanese and British traders. After checking in at the hotel, enjoy your leisure at this beautiful land.

In the morning, our crew will take a cruise on the Thu Bon River. Visitors will be taught about the fishing methods and fishing lessons from the local fisherman. You can catch fishes by throwing and retrieving a traditional round fishing net by yourself. Next, walking around Hoian to admire some highlight attractions such as merchant house, Hoian museum, Chinese assembly hall, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Remember to try some specialities in Hoian including Chicken Rice, White Dumplings, Cao Lau, Quang Noodles, etc.

Today, our group will move from Hoian back to Danang to visit Cham Museum. It includes the world’s largest collection of Cham artefacts, housed in buildings marrying French-colonial architecture with Cham elements. Next, transfer to Hue by passing Hai Van Pass – one of the most impressively scenic hillside roads in Vietnam. Arriving Hue – the former capital of Vietnam, we will visit the Imperial Citadel and the Thien Mu Pagoda– the symbol of the city.

Our Sightseeing tour around Hue will offer you a unique window into Vietnam and its complex past. We will pass through the tombs of the Nguyen Emperors including Khai Dinh Mausoleum, Tu Duc Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb – the greatest architectural structures of the traditional art harmonizing with nature. After that, fly to Hanoi – the heart of Vietnam to enjoy the bustling life in the city.

Let’s take a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the humble cottage, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda to understand more of the life of Ho Chi Minh – the father of modern Vietnam. Our team also pay a visit to the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam existing more than 900 years. Next, ride a Cyclo Tour around the city to admire the Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son Pagoda and walk through the Old Quarter which reflects the influence of French. Remember to try specialities in Hanoi and watch a water puppet show – a traditional art form dating back to the 11th century.

In the morning, we will depart for Halong bay from Hanoi. Our journey takes us about 3 hours through the lush green fields of the Red River Delta to the coast and beautiful Halong bay whose name means “an Ascending Dragon”.

We will have 2 days and 1 night on the cruise. While the lunch with fresh seafood is served, the boat cruises the bay to give visitors chances of admiring the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner islets. Remember to visit Surprise Grotto which attracts visitors by the majestic system of stalagmites and stalactites that has been existed thousands of years.

There are lots of activities for you including cruising around naturally carved mountains, sailing, kayaking, swimming, mountain climbing, fishing, and cave-discovering, etc.

Before dinner, there is a demonstration cooking class to teach foreigners how to make Vietnamese spring rolls – an outstanding highlight in Vietnamese cuisine.

Visitors should wake up early to join a Tai Chi Class for body warm-up and admire the sunrise view.

After breakfast, continue our journey by heading to Bai Tu Long Bay – another area of the bay. You will have close-up views of spectacular limestone peaks. Enjoy the lunch (or brunch) on board before disembarking. The crew will arrive in Hanoi for a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

After breakfast, morning excursion to the ancient city of Angkor Complex. Constructed between the 9th and 13th centuries, this Complex were built around the Khmer interpretations of Indian religious and political beliefs that ultimately evolved from Hinduism to Buddhism. First, visit Angkor Wat– honouring the Hindu god Vishnu – a symbol of Cambodia. From here, continue to Angkor Thom to see the Bayon Temple which features some 200 striking faces carved in 54 towers and impressive bas-relief.
Then, take the rest of the day at leisure and get an overnight in Siem Reap.

In the morning, travel to the “gem” of the Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay Srei, which is best viewed in the warm afternoon light. The so-called “Citadel of the Women” remains the best-preserved temple in Cambodia.

Later this morning, visit one of the most illustrious temples in this astonishing complex; Ta Prohm temple, built in the mid-12th to early 13th centuries. Unlike the other temples, TA PROHM has been left relatively untouched and surrounded by jungle, with tree roots growing over and through the ruin walls. You’ll be able to experience the temple with the same wonder as the early explorers who discovered it.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance, where the ancient Khmer culture is brought to life by talented dancers, singers, and musicians.

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the airport for the next flight to Bangkok. As soon as arriving in the heart of Thailand, our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Today will start with a boat ride through Bangkok’s canals to see family homes, temples, and the way of life that gives this city the nickname “Venice of the East.” Stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. The first light of the morning reflects off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence.

Next, pay a visit to the Grand Palace, comprised of the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Plus, visit the Temple of Reclining Buddha which is known as the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Bangkok.

Today, visitors have a full day at leisure to explore  Bangkok on your own. Some attractions that you should take a visit to are Jim Thompson’s House, Damnoen Saduak colorful floating market, and then a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River.

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Bangkok then transfer you to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai – the second largest city in Thailand.

After checking in at the hotel, take your leisure time around Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is a city that really comes alive at night! You can start the evening at a local temple to join monks in their nightly chanting of prayer. Light some incense or burn a candle and experience this wonderful Buddhist event.

Following breakfast, starting today with a visit to Wat Phra Singh with its famous Buddha image, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep – one of northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. Then, take a tram car or walk up the Naga (dragon-headed serpent) staircase with more than 300 steps. At that height, you will enjoy the spectacular views of Chiang Mai on a clear day. After that, you have the remainder of the day to do whatever you want!

At night, you should head to the lively Waroros market. This market is the hub of local life and bursting with fresh flowers and local street food stalls. Let’s explore the market by sampling some local Thai sweets to finish off your wonderful night.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

On the second day at Chiang Mai, head to the outside of the city to Baan Tong Luang in order to visit several hill tribe groups including the Akha which is famous for gorgeous headdresses decorated with silver coins. This is also home to Karen long-necked women. Coming here, visitors have chances of observing the local daily life of people. The mystery and beauty that sound the tradition of using brass rings for exaggerated jewellery is something better seen in person than in a book.

Then, the remaining time of the day is free.
